Do You Have to Be Photographed as an Aesthetic Model?
No — photography is not required for every aesthetic model appointment. Some clinics need before-and-after or technique images; others do not. If photography is part of the appointment, it should be explained before you agree, and you should be able to decline photography or the appointment itself.
When clinics ask for photography
Photography may be requested for portfolio work, training records, social media or internal audits. It is more common on model slots tied to content or demonstration — but policies vary by clinic and appointment.
There is no universal rule that all model appointments require photos.
Consent should be clear
You should know what images are taken, how they may be used, whether your face is identifiable, and whether you can request removal later under the clinic's policies.
Treatment consent and photography consent are separate decisions.
