What Is PRP?
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a treatment prepared from your own blood. After centrifugation, the platelet-rich layer is injected or applied to skin or scalp to deliver growth factors that may support tissue repair. It is used for facial rejuvenation, combined microneedling protocols and hair thinning.
How PRP is prepared
A blood sample is taken and spun in a centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells. The PRP is collected and used during the same appointment.
