What to Expect as an Aesthetic Model
As an aesthetic model, you should still receive a consultation, a clear explanation of who treats you and whether supervision or photography is involved, the treatment itself, and aftercare advice. The flow resembles a standard appointment — the difference is usually practitioner level, clinic purpose and price.
Before the appointment
You may complete a medical history form and attend a consultation — in person or on the day. The clinic should confirm treatment type, product or device, price and any model-specific conditions.
If photography is requested, that should be explained now, not after treatment starts.
During the appointment
Depending on the setup, a trainee or developing practitioner may perform the treatment while a senior clinician observes or supervises. Training demonstrations may include additional observers.
You can ask questions at any point. You should never feel pressured to continue if something changes from what was agreed.
Aftercare and follow-up
You should receive written or verbal aftercare and a way to contact the clinic if concerns arise. Review appointments may be offered — particularly for injectables — though this varies by clinic and appointment type.
